Yolanda & Shadley’s Wedding Part I: The Nikah & Getting Ready

Yolanda & Shadley’s gorgeous multi-cultural wedding ~ it was such a happy occasion filled with the most beautiful colours, traditions and family love. There were so many details and different aspects to this wedding, that I have decided to break the blog posts into parts.

Here is the first: Shadley’s Nikah Ceremony held in Ottery, Cape Town and some behind the scenes of Yolanda getting ready for the Hindu Service later that afternoon at Blue Horizon Estate in Simonstown.

I was honoured to be allowed to take photographs during the Nikah and it will always be one of my highlights as a Wedding Photographer!!

Yolanda’s gorgeous red Sari and all the bling that went along with her and her family getting ready was incredible to watch and I felt so amazed to be allowed to participate in these behind the scenes intimate moments.
